I have no complaints on these and I definitely recommend them. I looked at a TON of similar options but decided on these for value, plus the seller was good about their description in confirming that they come with no slip pads. (Many others did not mention it and they are. Critical for a thicker mantel.)I have a different set bought a year ago and I needed one more (added a dog to the family). From previous experience I knew I needed a nonslip pad to make it stick/stay on my chunky mantel.The color was great. I was looking for something that would just blend into the background and not stand out. Let's face it, these are not the height of decor or interior design aspirations. BUT, they are extremely practical and safe for young kids.I highly highly recommend these - especially if children are in the house.(I had a beautiful Pottery Barn silver deer stocking holder that was a substantial counterweight. My toddler tugged on the stocking and it fell on his head. That sucker was heavy and I was so scared we'd have to take him to the ER but we got really really lucky.) Save yourself the worry or danger and get these!!!!
