I have not been able to use them too frequently and for that reason, my comments might not be that useful. Nevertheless, there are several aspects that I want to remark:1) I was very curious to inspect them and that is what I did as soon as they got. The results were very pleasant: They are very well made. Without a doubt, they equal some USD100 boots without any problem (this ones cost me USD70 with free shipping). The only aspect that I would like to highlight is that, unlike some other boots, the soft midsole of these boots is exposed (not covered by the outsole) and I do not know whether that could cause a lower useful life if they have frequent contact with water.2) They are very light in spite of being a little bit bulky.3) I had seen comments of some other users saying that they do not require any break-in period. However I was a bit skeptical in that regard (they are combat boots after all), because in my opinion every shoe has to be subject to a break-in period in order to really adapt to the feet. After using the boots, I confirmed that they are not the exception. Nevertheless, given that they are not stiff (the leather is very soft), it took me no more than a few days to feel that they were completely ready to be used for long periods of time. Really outstanding.4) Plenty room in the toes area. Albeit I do not have wide feet, I believe that they have enough space even for those with slightly wide ones.5) Very comfortable even without any sort of specialized insoles, though I would recommend to add them in order to obtain the maximum benefits out of the boots.6) One of the most pleasant surprises about these boots is that they allow your feet to breathe VERY well. My feet are completely dry after using them for the entire day in slightly warm weather. I really love how my dry feet feel.7) Unbeatable price. I believe this is the best characteristic of the boots. Overall, their quality is very high, they are comfortable, and for USD 70, I have to conclude that the quality-price ratio is in a class of its own.I did not give them the five stars only because in order to do so, I have to use them for a longer period of time to test their duration. Most comfortable boots by far definitely worth the price. They are very comfortablePurchased Swat Boots from other sellers. These were great and the price was better then other sellers! This boot is super light like a sneaker/tennis shoe but with great protection! Meets all the military Standards and doesn't look over the top like most Nike, Oakly, danner, Bates, and so on and so forth are getting to be! Its a Modest boot with extrodinary capability! The Price is unmatched as well! I paid $135 for a pair of Phoenix Gear boots with a Vibram sole and within 6 months there was a hole in the back of the heel (you have got to be kidding me) SMDH that is a lot of money to shell out for something that doesn't perform. These are super comforatble as well! I did a 12 mile ruck in them and only had on small blister on the top of my left big toe where the boot bends at the forend! In 6 years I have had 2 pairs and wear them every day at work and I have a deployment and I even have a few jumps on these boots and they are still kicking! I first saw these in a Surplus store outside of Ft Hood TX 2006 or 2007 for $69 (bought and loved) and they have since went up to $99 but I snagged these for $59 on sale here on Amazon! I can't stress enough how well rounded these Combat boots really are! Ditch all the expensive crap and go with what works, lasts, adhears to regs, is light, durable, and most importantly Comfortable! These boots feel a bit hot on my feet. The last pair aren't a hot and the first two pairs are much cooler and I still wear them allOriginal S.W.A.T makes some of the most comfortable combat boots I've ever worn. After leaving the military in 2012 I discovered Original S.W.A.T working private security. putting my foot in those boots was like standing on a cloud. Maybe that is a bit of an exaggeration, but the point is, I've worn many brands of boots these are the best in my opinion. They are durable, comfortable, have great ankle support**, great traction. As far as cons go I have two. The first pair of boots I got had zippers on the side making it quick to put on but also while engaging in military style operations would unzip loosing that great ankle support** I mentioned earlier. Not to mention increasing the chance of your boots falling off in combat which is no good. If you're going to use these boots hard, then I'd suggest getting no zipper on your boots. Another con is it doesn't have a whole lot of ventilation, which doesn't bother me a whole lot, but if you got seriously sweaty feet then you might not find it so nice.i wear these every day .. very comfortable . right out of the box .. i am retired military and now farmer / retired.cant say enough... i am now on my 4th set.. i buy 2 at a time . rotate and wear them out .. not rubber boots ..once again i wear them every day .... love them i will buy moreFinally I went back to Swat, they fit great, just to bad the soles squeek, but that's typical of SWAT.I bought these as a birthday present for my dad. He’s been looking for years but they were always out of stock when he ordered. He absolutely loves them, says they’re the comfiest boots he’s ever owned.returned these as they were broken in nicely, lol, and purchased them from OEM website, great boots no complaints.Would give the seller a second chance as they refunded with no hassle. The product is advertised as 12 K while on the box it shows 8 KBest bang and toughness for you're money.
