This jacket has some heft to it without being too heavy-- light enough to wear in mild weather and yet heavy enough for most winter weather. The wool blend definitely blocks the wind very well. Appears to be well-made. I normally wear XLT, and sometimes XXL-- ordered this in XLT and it is quite comfortable and the fit is good. Decent movement in shoulders and elbows. Love the very large front pockets. The only slight knocks on this are, the zipper can sometimes be a little tricky to get started, and the hood is not removable and sometimes gets in the way. But overall it looks very nice and functionally is very good-- I recommend.
