I live assemblying this type of furniture! Most of the times they are very easy to assemble, but this one was harder because of two flaws. First the two coat hanging attachments installed directly in the metal frame were difficult to set. Second, the two wood product pieces were not pre-drilled correctly (the separation was for the type of hanger attached to the frame) for installing the other 6 hooks. Other than that, everything else fell in place perfectly and the end product was worth it! This item is pleasant to the eyes and strong, very sturdy. Great for hanging coats, hats, setting shoes in the shelves, etc.I haven't hung my bags on it yet but I did sit a 4' tall bear in it to show the size - it's got a great amount of space, and it's extremely sturdy. The reason I rated the ease of assembly at 3 stars was because screwing in the hooks to hang things on was incredibly difficult, and I couldn't even get the two hooks that screw into the metal sides to attach so I left those off. I don't think it'll be a deal breaker but I definitely got more than a little frustrated because the holes are drilled into the metal and I just couldn't get it to connect. Overall I think it's a really nice size and I think it'll hold a lot but I wish that the hooks, which are kind of a big part of the whole piece, were easier to assemble.This shelf is tall and sturdy. The wood details are beautiful and the metal is strong. It has a lot of space for decor and coats if wanted. It just one of those perfect things to bring the look of your house up.Setup was easy enough. The instructions were clear for us.It supports cats jumping on it without wobbling and that’s always a plus.It’s definitely worth its price and I wholly recommend it.If you need to organize your small space this worked perfect for us must buy
