We were very frustrated as there were NO INSTRUCTIONS in the box or even on-line on how to attach it to the wall. It comes seperately as pictured, but how do you attach the hook for the ironing board to the iron plate and does it need a stud to be secured? Finally, we just located a stud in the wall for the top center hole for the screw, then we used wall anchors of which were not included for the lower two holes and had to use larger screws. You also need to measure your ironing board and the holder for exact placement above the floor. We just used the upper hole as a guide after we measured as we didn't want it touching the floor. Before screwing the upper portiion completely into the stud, you need to attach the flat portion of the hook above the holes on the back of the holder with your hands. Then line up the wall anchors with the holes on the holder at the bottom left and right side and use a screwdriver to screw it into the wall anchors. So, basically the flat hook wire just sits above the holes on the back of the unit and is pressed against the wall and the holder.
